A personal story behind a mission

Renésens was born out of a story of transitions.

Professional, personal and cultural transitions — and above all one experience that transforms a life for good: becoming a parent.

After several years working in communications and consulting in France and then in Canada, I went through a number of major changes myself: moving abroad, returning to France, a career change, and the birth of my two children.

Those experiences taught me one essential thing: periods of change can be unsettling and bring us face to face with our own fragility, but they are also precious moments to reinvent yourself, redefine your priorities and bring new resources to the surface.

Renésens was born of that conviction.

Why Renésens?

Renésens is a play on words built on two essential ideas that guide our approach: rebirth, and the senses and essence.

Rebirth

Because every major stage of life transforms us and invites us to become a new version of ourselves.

The senses and the essence

Because these periods of transition are also an invitation to reconnect with what really matters to you — your needs, your values and your deepest identity.

Parenthood is one of those great transformations. It changes our role, our relationship, our relationship to time, to work and sometimes even to ourselves.

Renésens supports these moments of passage, to help everyone move forward with more confidence, more understanding and more peace of mind.

Behind Renésens is Charline Gervaise

I am Charline Gervaise: perinatal support consultant, professional coach and mother of two.

I created Renésens wanting to offer a different kind of support: a space that is human, accessible and professional all at once, and that takes in the full complexity of life transitions.

My approach is deeply tied to my own path, and also to my personal and professional commitment to parenthood support and to the wellbeing of families.

Over the years I have built an approach nourished by several complementary experiences: entrepreneur, coach, child health assistant, breastfeeding facilitator and future IBCLC lactation consultant.

Wearing multiple hats is one of my strengths today: it lets me offer holistic support that takes in the needs of the parents as much as those of the baby, and the emotional, practical, relational and professional dimensions of that great transition that is parenthood.

A path built around transitions and human support

My path has led me to live through, and to support, different kinds of transitions.

After more than 12 years in communications and consulting in France and then in Canada, I went through a deep professional and personal transition myself.

After six years living abroad in Toronto, returning to France was a real turning point: finding my bearings again, questioning my professional identity and imagining a new path.

That experience fed my understanding of life changes, and of how much it matters to be supported when you are going through a period of transformation.

Then the birth of my children opened a new chapter. My own experience of motherhood, of the postpartum period and particularly of the difficulties I met around breastfeeding made me realise how much the right support matters during that very particular time.

That journey is what led me to deepen my knowledge of perinatal care and to build an approach blending professional expertise, hands-on experience and human support.

An approach grounded in experience and commitment

Supporting life transitions takes more than theoretical knowledge, in my view.

It calls for a fine understanding of what the people you support are actually living, an ability to listen, a professional stance and a constant willingness to enrich your practice.

That is why I keep training, developing my skills and drawing on my hands-on experience, to offer support that is serious, respectful and adapted to the needs of each family.

My aim: to create a space of trust where everyone can move at their own pace, find their own resources and build their own way of growing through this new stage of life.
