About Renésens
Renésens was built on a simple observation: becoming a parent is already a profound transformation. Living that transition far from everything familiar, from your family and your network, and sometimes in another language, adds a further dimension that is still too rarely taken into account.
An approach born of several transitions

Founded by Charline Gervaise, perinatal consultant and certified professional coach, Renésens draws directly on her own personal and professional journey.
After more than twelve years working in communications, marketing and media in France and in Canada, including more than six years living in Toronto, Charline experienced first-hand what living abroad involves: adapting to a new environment and rebuilding your bearings.
Motherhood was then a real turning point.
A difficult pregnancy and postpartum period, then the birth of her first child, brought out a need for meaning and renewal, along with the wish to rethink her professional path entirely.
A career change gradually took shape around coaching, perinatal care, childcare, breastfeeding and postpartum support.
Renésens was born where all of these dimensions meet: parenthood, life transitions, work, global mobility and the need to find your bearings again when everything around you changes.
Today we support parents-to-be and new parents, but also the companies, healthcare organisations and professionals around them, with particular attention to those becoming parents far from their own country and their usual network.
The mission of Renésens: to support the journey into parenthood better, taking in every dimension of that transformation — personal, family, professional, and tied to the context you live in.
Expertise built where several worlds meet
Perinatal care & becoming a parent
Our expertise is grounded in hands-on experience with newborns and their parents in a maternity unit, and in our founder’s French State Diploma in Childcare (Diplôme d’État d’Auxiliaire de Puériculture).
It is completed by specialist training in breastfeeding and postpartum support, and by training currently under way to become an IBCLC lactation consultant.
We support parents-to-be and new parents during pregnancy, around the arrival of their baby, coming home, breastfeeding and the first steps into parenthood.
Coaching & transitions
Renésens draws on professional coaching expertise, with an RNCP level 6 certification and ACC (Associate Certified Coach) accreditation from the International Coaching Federation.
More than 300 hours of one-to-one and group coaching practice, regular professional supervision and a range of tools from communications and change support feed into our approach.
That expertise means we can support professional transitions, shifts in identity and the new balances that can emerge when you become a parent.
Strategy, management & organisations
Before Renésens was founded, Charline worked for more than twelve years in France and in Canada, mainly agency-side, in consulting, marketing, communications and media.
That experience built skills in strategy, analysis and data insights, business development, partnerships, project management and team leadership.
Today it shapes the way we work with companies and organisations: understanding their context, analysing what already exists, bringing needs to the surface and co-designing solutions that fit.
Global mobility & bilingualism
More than six years living and working in Toronto, a dual French-Canadian culture and a professional practice in both French and English also feed the Renésens approach.
We pay particular attention to the realities of global mobility: distance from your support network, losing your bearings, language, adapting to a new environment and making sense of new systems.
Our support can be offered in French as well as in English, and this experience is completed by training and tools around intercultural practice.
An approach that connects these areas of expertise
What parents-to-be and new parents face, and all the more so when they become parents far from their country and from everything familiar, never sits in a single box.
It can touch parenthood, work, health, the support network, identity or making sense of a new environment, all at the same time.
That is why we chose to build Renésens where several complementary areas of expertise meet.
Why work with Renésens?
A double understanding, of the ground and of organisations
Our approach combines hands-on experience with families and newborns and more than twelve years of experience in demanding professional environments.
Solutions built with you
We favour partnership and co-design, starting from the reality, the existing resources and the specific needs of each organisation.
An approach connecting parenthood, work and global mobility
Because these dimensions cross and influence each other when you become a parent far from everything familiar, we bring them into a single line of thinking rather than treating them separately.
A bilingual approach
Our sessions can be delivered directly in French or in English, depending on the needs of the families and of the organisations.
A single point of contact
Renésens brings together consulting, one-to-one and group support, resources and awareness-raising without multiplying providers.
Other interventions
Expertise that can also be drawn on beyond parenthood
Beyond our expertise dedicated to parenthood and to the transitions of global mobility, Renésens also works from time to time with organisations, company directors, entrepreneurs and teams on subjects tied to professional transitions, work-life balance, management and leadership.
This work draws in particular on our expertise in professional coaching, strategy and management, and can take the form of workshops, training or bespoke support.
