Parent Circles and Group Spaces
Warm gatherings between parents, to share your experience, break out of isolation and connect with other families going through a similar time.
Becoming a parent is a major transition, and it can sometimes be lived with a feeling of loneliness — particularly when you live far from your loved ones, or in a new country.
These circles offer a space to meet peers, talk freely about the realities of daily life with a baby, share experiences and find the support of a caring community of parents.
These gatherings make it possible to:
- Share your experience with other parents living through similar situations
- Find support in moments of doubt or change
- Exchange advice and resources between peers
- Better understand the different ways of living parenthood
- Create connections and break out of isolation
A space to talk, share and feel supported
Each circle is a small-group conversation, in an intimate and respectful setting, where everyone can share what they are living, their questions and their experiences, without judgement.
Topics can be set in advance according to the group’s needs, or emerge during the gathering itself, so that each circle answers the participants’ expectations as closely as possible.
A circle open to every family
The circles are open to mothers, fathers and co-parents.
Babies and young children are welcome too: these gatherings are designed to fit the reality of young families.
Depending on needs and requests, some circles may also be offered around specific topics, or dedicated to particular groups (a mothers’ circle or a fathers’ circle, for example).
A contribution within everyone’s reach
Because access to support and to connection between parents should never be a barrier, some circles run on a pay-what-you-can basis.
Everyone is invited to contribute according to their means, and to the value they wish to give this shared experience.

FAQ
Who are the parent circles for?
The circles are open to parents-to-be, mothers, fathers and co-parents who would like to talk with other families about the transition to parenthood and daily life with a baby.
Depending on the themes offered, some circles may also be dedicated to specific groups (parents-to-be, mothers, fathers or expat parents, for example).
Can I take part with my baby?
Yes. Babies and young children are welcome at the circles.
These gatherings are designed to fit the reality of young families: you can take part while caring for your baby.
Do I have to speak during the circle?
No. Every participant is free to share their experience, their questions or their feelings, as much or as little as suits them.
Above all, the circle is a space for listening, sharing and connection between parents, in a caring and judgement-free setting.
What is the difference between a parent circle and an individual consultation?
Individual consultations give you personalised support adapted to your situation and to your specific needs.
The circles, on the other hand, offer a group space where the main aim is to create connection, share experiences between peers and break out of the isolation new parents can sometimes feel.
Do the circles replace medical or psychological care?
No. The circles are spaces for conversation and mutual support between parents. They do not replace medical, psychological or therapeutic follow-up when that is needed.
If a particular situation calls for specific care, a referral to a suitable professional can be offered.
Are the circles only for expat families?
The circles are designed with the realities of expat families particularly in mind — the lack of a network nearby, the distance from family and the difficulties of settling into a new country.
They remain open, though, to any parent who would like to share this experience with other families.
Are the circles held in English or in French?
Depending on the group and on the participants’ needs, circles can be held in English, in French, or in a format adapted to the families present.

Not sure where to start?
Every expat family lives a different reality. Depending on your stage of pregnancy, your arrival in France, your family situation or what you need right now, some forms of support will suit you better than others.
In a first conversation, we take the time to get to know each other and to identify together the resources and support that best answer your situation.
